Michael has been involved in almost every facet of real estate in the first half of his career. Whether it be working within large independent agencies, large franchise groups or growing his own independent brand, Michael has vast experience in residential sales, strata sales (units, townhouses and apartments), commercial and industrial sales and leasing, large scale and boutique project marketing, prestige sales, acreage and land sales, Michael has achieved success in every aspect.
Shortly after Michael’s real estate career began, he quickly attracted many who were drawn to his passion, commitment and work ethic and as such, he left his personal selling career at the door and spent many years managing, training and leading sales teams…through his own company ‘Alto Property Brokers (that were regarded as one of the fastest growing residential real estate groups between 2003 and 2005) and then later through franchise groups including Coldwell Banker and LJ Hooker.
Discovering that he missed the ‘coal face’ activity of the industry, Michael began selling again in late 2008 and within less than 12 months, established himself as one of the top 5% of agents within Australia.
Michael later joined the RE/MAX network in 2010 and it was his 6 year tenure here where his business grew to the point where he earned many National and International Awards and recognitions that included being named as the Number 1 agent and team in the Australia numerous times, ranked within the Top 10 agents Internationally within RE/MAX (a network group that boasts more than 104,000 in 92 countries Worldwide) and was awarded ‘Marketer of the year for 4 consecutive years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014).
Only in late 2015, Michael and his team were awarded ‘Queensland’s Best Team’ at the prestigious ‘A-List’ event. Because the ‘A-List’ awards encompasses all real estate agents right across Queensland, Michael considers this award as one of his proudest achievements.
Michael commenced ‘Innov8 Property’ with a view to being a real estate powerhouse in the forthcoming years and his view is that today’s real estate agency needs to be at the forefront of changing factors in the marketplace for buyers and sellers and also providing a far more structured format, better products and facilities and for agents, a greater level of advanced training and higher commission structures.
